PS2 is the cheapest system to get if you can't afford a next-generation system, besides PS2 has a lot more games! Do you think PS2 is better than Xbox 360? Cause I've read about the Red Ring of Death.

Are you serious? The fact that the PS3 doesn't have better graphics(right now) than the 360, how would you say the PS2, a system that is 6+ years old would have better graphics than a next gen console?! Stop being a fanboy...The Red Ring of Death has no correlation to the topic as well....kids these days have no understanding of technology.

Even though I'm a Playstation guy and I own all of the Playstation consoles, I'll admit that I really don't think that the PS2 has better graphics than the 360.
But that shooter called Black is the BEST looking game I have ever seen on the PS2. The graphics in Black for the PS2 look almost as good as some earlier PS3 game graphics, but in the future PS3 games will become much more advanced than the 360's graphics. As far as potential in better graphics, I think that the Xbox 360 has reached it's limit.
But overall, the PS2 is better than the 360 though. The only thing the Xbox 360 has over the PS2 is graphics and hardware. The PS2 is the king of all consoles in my opinion. Some of the best games ever released came out on the PS2 or on the PS1.

Yes, the PS2 is cheaper and has a larger library. It is not that durable though. My friend has had to spend $200 to buy a new laser system to read the discs more than once on his PS2. Now, he has a Wii.
Yes, the Red Ring of Death is a biotch. But you send it in for free to Microsoft. It may be a good month and a half before you get it back, but you still dont have to spend $200 to replace the laser disk read system.
And the 360 has better graphics than the PS2. A new graphics engine is the key to that.

I think the 360 has way more potential to have better graphics than a PS2. I love my PS2 but there are much better graphics system's out there, including the 360, imo.

No problems just make sure when you buy the 360 check the manufacturer date. New 360s are coming out with new heatsinks.
