Mormons, or rather, members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, believe in angels. Only the seraphim, as mentioned in the Bible, have wings, however.

The angels that minister to man and are messengers and servants of God are those who have lived in mortality on earth or will be born into mortality.

Your Mormon neighbor should not take umbrage of a gift of an angel--even if it does have wings. It's important that you thought enough to buy a gift for them.

No, we believe that all of us were angels in heaven before coming to earth. The archangel Michael, became Adam. Your neighbors will be happy with your thoughtfulness. Your angels may have wings which we did not have, but that is OK. We know that most people associate angels with wings. They will be pleased.

There are several references to ministering angels in the Book of Mormon, and one named Moroni. There is also other references to other angelic beings. Yes we believe in Angels. Part of the culture. They shouldn't be offended.

I don't see why they wouldn't.

I mean, I'm sure most of them have taken geometry.
