Satan wouldn't care if I liked a crispy tune or two, not that I've found any I like, but you get the point?
What's his problem?

Satan doesn't care. He encourages individuality and he knows I can think for myself.

Actually, as someone who knows his Blasphemy, I find that Black Metal is a great place to find some real truths and enlightened viewpoints. So yeah, since God wants us to be stupid (refusing to let Adam and Eve eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge and all), I'd imagine that anything that shows us a viewpoint other than his bright, shiny, holy attitude towards our lives and the beings that effect it WOULD have pissed him off a whole lot, if in fact, he hadn't have gotten his sorry existance snuffed out pissing off Father Satan by trying to kill us all with his oxymoronic holy-truths and suicidal practices anyways.

Kickass Black Metal/Thrash Metal bands/songs/lyrics which I adore:

"Invocation of Belial" by Blasphemous (yes, there's actually a band called "Blasphemous" *grin*)

Anything by Havohej, who are "Dedicated to dethroning the Son of God"

Anything by "Typhus", who write such songs as "Black Kum on the Faces of Angels"

The band "Hell's Laughter" has some pretty funny stuff based on the irony and hypocrisy of Jehovah and his followers.

Who could forget "Cradle of Filth", whose music is dynamic, creative, inspiring, UTTERLY Unholy, and always a good method of regaining/rebuilding one's sanity and hope in the world after being forced to sit through hours of Sunday Sermon =P

And, finally a little blurb from a Satanist Black Metal band I can't remember the name of, but met their guitarist on the Joy of Satan Yahoo! Group what seems like a long time ago...

"...Waging War on God himself!" (Unknown)

It's glorious music, but it takes a damn near poetic skill with lyrics, research into religion and at least incredibly good instrumental skills and tight band dynamics to pull off most of the time. I'm the frontman of my own Metal Band, but though I personally despise the "Holy Religions", we as a band don't focus on religion as much as emotion.

That's what I can say from experience, do with it what you will...

Ave Satanas!

While I can't speak for God's music tastes, I'm sure He regards thrash metal with indifference, at worst. I mean, He's God, He can see all sides of an object and then some, right? So why not with music genres? At the very least, he has to acknowledge the creativity of His children/creations.

I really enjoy black metal....especially when I'm stoned.

I don't think God would care, most of the bands don't even sing(or scream) distasteful/sinful lyrics....just hardcore drums/guitar.

MY deity wouldn't care. I can see him enjoying some good rock n roll and metal.

Hail Odin!

If you are referring to the Creator of the universe; He wants what is best for you, even if you don't have wit enough to figure it out for yourself. He would definitely be disappointed.
