Yes turkeys are very social critters. Mate'n season is about the only time you will see one alone, then you will see toms looking for hens. They flock together most the year and comunicate very well with each other.

I do know some folks that are real turkeys. . ., Surprisingly, they do have a social life. No accounting for taste I guess.
