When you dream of houses, you are dreaming of yourself, or a part of yourself.

When you dream of a convent, you probably in need of some reassurance, comfort, or spiritual support.

Dreaming of a mansion represents your potential and growth.

Stairs mean something different, depending on whether you are walking down them (you're digging deeper into your subconscious, or you're experiencing a setback), or walking up them (you're getting closer to understanding). Spiral or winding stairs can represent growth.

Your dream probably means you are exploring who you are and trying to figure it all out. You might be at a place in your life where you feel you are stuck, so you're exploring. That leads to being chased, as you may feel stuck, and don't know what to do, so you run, trying to avoid something, and/or something you fear.

Hi There, cybershot_fan,

Let's see what you've got there......

in every chance i can remember my dream its always about someone chasing me.

((Someone you feel you need to avoid.... Often, where one is being chased, one feels the need to run in a different direction..... this is that need to avoid that someone..... Do you understand this?......))

it will start with me walking alone

((To walk alone, is to reminisce.... to think on some things... it is easiest to walk alone and clear thoughts on the mind, than it is to walk and talk with someone... this brings to thought new experiences and the mind cannot clear out old thoughts for the conversation stirring other things to mind...... So here, the dream indicates a need on your part to think things out....))

or with someone then some house/ mansion/ convent will catch my curiosity.

((There is something on the mind here.... It is about you... and the condition you would consider yourself in.... What is interesting is that these "structures" are not symbolically you because you say "catch my curiosity"...... something you are thinking on......Something you may have thought about..... ))

and then i/we will sneak in, tip toeing here and there

((You are not alone..... Something you are doing here... and you are trying not to be noticed...... Trying not to bring attention to the self......))

and then suddenly the owner or guardian will find us then he or she will chase us.

((There is an authority figure here.... and this person is trying to keep peace......))

lately there were a lot of stairs involved

((There are alot of steps you have to take, the dream says.... Something you must do....... Perhaps, it is more than you would like to go through.... I don't get the impression you have a desire to go through these things, but it seems that you have to and lately, it is alot more....... Think on this!!!!....))

in my dreams last night there were 3 chases in 3 diff houses

((These are avoidance issues..... the houses are symbolic of the dreamer in society it is the way you see youself... Especially if you are in them.... if not, it may very well be someone else you have your sights on.... **curiosity**..... or perhaps, it is nothing more than perspective........))

You want to explore forbidden experiences, but you are "run off," by your own inhibitions. Stairs may represent learning something that will change you forever. You always run back to the familiar. The rest of the interpretation is up to you.

Chase dreams often stem from feelings of anxiety in your walking life. The way we respond to anxiety and pressure in real life is typically manifested as a chase dream. Running is an instinctive response to physical threats in our environment. Often in these dream scenarios, you are being pursued by some attacker, who wants to hurt or possibly kill you. You are running away, hiding, or trying to outwit your pursuer. Chase dreams may represent your way of coping with fears, stress or various situations in your waking life. Instead of confronting the situation, you are running away and avoiding it.Ask yourself who is the one chasing you and you may gain some understanding and insight on the source of your fears and pressure.

The pursuer or attacker who is chasing you in your dream may also represent a part of yourself. Your own feelings of anger, jealousy, fear, and possibly love, can assume the appearance of threatening figure. You may be projecting these feelings onto the unknown chaser. Next time you have a chase dream, turn around and confront your pursuer. Ask them why they are chasing you.

One may be consumed by their own anger, jealousy, love, or self-destructive behavior. For example, you may be drinking too much or exhibiting open hostility toward others around you. You may subconsciously be threatened by these actions which have been jeopardizing your relationships and/or career. Your dreams are a way of calling attention to these self-destructive actions.

A more direct analysis of chase dreams is the fear of being attacked. Such dreams are more common among women than men, who may feel physically vulnerable in the urban environment. These dreams are inspired by fears of violence and sexual assault in which we are so over-exposed from the media. The violence that the media portrays magnifies our fears and how at risk we all are.

To dream that you are walking up a flight of stairs, indicates that you are achieving a higher level of understanding. You are making progress into your spiritual/emotional/material journey. It also represents material and thoughts that are coming to the surface.

To dream that you are walking down a flight of stairs, represents your repressed thoughts. It suggests that you are going into your unconscious. It also refers to setbacks that you will experience in your life. If you are afraid of going down the stairs, then it suggests that you are afraid to confront your repressed emotions and thoughts. Is there something from your past that you are not acknowledging.

To see spiral or winding stairs, signify growth and/or rebirth.

You need to be more careful you don't cross the wrong boundaries out of curiosity. You need to stop running and feeling guilty. Meditate, exercise, eat healthy, so that you will feel stronger spiritually and be able to better direct your curiosity into areas that don't create trouble for you. One does not want to do things that make you have to run and be scared.
