About God only choosing a certain amount of people to go to heaven.
WTF?!!?!?
The Bible clearly says ANYONE and EVERYONE who comes to the light, by accepting Jesus Christ into their hearts, is PROMISED by GOD a place in heaven!
So, what group of people in what time era were too stupid to realize that message, and made up their own beliefs???

Jesus came of the line of David.

God does not change His mind.

Do not be so envious. Your definition of the word "chosen" and God's are quite different.

God Bless You.

A very few of many scriptural references:

4 Howbeit the LORD God of Israel chose me before all the house of my father to be king over Israel for ever: for he hath chosen Judah to be the ruler; and of the house of Judah, the house of my father; and among the sons of my father he liked me to make me king over all Israel.(1Chronicles Chapter 28:4)

6 But I have chosen Jerusalem, that my name might be there; and have chosen David to be over my people Israel.(2 Chronicles 6:6)

27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are(1Cor Chapter 1)

6 O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.(Psalm 105)

8 But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.

9 Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.(Isaiah 41:8)

I would blame it mostly on Atheists and Jews.

Jews rejected Jesus Christ to be their savour. They don't not believe that Jesus was the savour of the world, and they are still waiting for their savour to come one day. They probably believed that Christians are doomed to hell, since we believe that the world's savour has come to pass. This maybe where they are getting this idea from.

Unlike Jews, Atheist don't believe in God. They don't practice any sort of religion and they do not spread the word of God to anyone. Some of these Atheists can be stuck up against other peoples religions. Despite their acts, don't trust what they say or believe in. I know that God accepts anyone into heaven if they give him a chance.

Xianity came up with that idea.

Judaism does NOT believe that only Jews get to heaven!! We believe that everyone who is a good person, regardless of their religion, warrants a place in the World to Come. The "chosen people" thing comes from us "choosing" to follow the Torah. choosing-->chosen. Xianity is the one who started making up this stuff about us because they needed a reason to get people to convert.

IF you ask me, Xianity is pretty ridiculous as the only people that can go to heaven are Xians.

I do believe God chose me just like many others to be a part of his kingdom. The Jews were his chosen people. Now because of the coming of Messiah Yeshua, the Gentiles are now God's chosen people.

As God says in Hosea, "I will call my people who are not my people. I will call my loved ones who are not my loved ones."

In the old testament (The Law of Moses) his chosen people were the Jews (Isreal). However, once Jesus was crucified (grace and truth), salvation was to every man.

This was done because many of his chosen people were denying him and people of other nations had began to believe and follow him. (Read it in Acts)
