Whatever the parents were. If they were Labrador Retrievers, chances are that it's not a Boxer! Just to be safe, tell them it's a Mutt!

How would we possibly know without a picture or at least a description.

I can't really answer your question if you haven't described it, shown pictures of it, or done anything to show us. It could be a goldren retriever and I wouldn't know.
