I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. - Daniel 7:9.

The Almighty God. The King of kings and Lord of lords. The Son of man, the Son of God, the Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last! Our Savior!

The verse you posted reminds me of Revelation 1:13-15.

"And standing in the middle of the lampstands was someone like the Son of Man.
He was wearing a long robe with a gold sash across his chest.
His head and his hair were white like wool, as white as snow. And his eyes were like flames of fire.
His feet were like polished bronze refined in a furnace, and his voice thundered like mighty ocean waves."

That is God. I conjecture that it is God the Father, but I want to be careful because there is still this part of God called the Holy Spirit. By the description of the other figure in Daniel 7, we can see that it fits right with Jesus as the Most High. Because power and authority is given to Him along with a phrase, " the saints of the Most High." The Most High is therefore Jesus.

When you study things like this it becomes apparent that the 'trinity' concept makes it difficult to nail down an exact application for a description. So be careful with this if you want to remain accurate. Somethings are too difficult to put your finger on when it isn't meant for you to be able to. And error is always just around the corner for those who do.

EDIT: I see that many have answered that the Ancient of Days is Jesus. I would differ with them on that. The reason why is because the Bible has revealed who the Most High is by the references to the saints of the Most High.

Psalm 78:35
They remembered that God was their Rock, that God Most High was their Redeemer.

Psalm 91:1
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

Daniel 7:18
But the saints of the Most High will receive the kingdom and will possess it forever—yes, for ever and ever.'

This one especially:
Daniel 7:22
until the Ancient of Days came and pronounced judgment in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came when they possessed the kingdom.

Daniel 7:25
He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws. The saints will be handed over to him for a time, times and half a time.

Daniel 7:27
Then the sovereignty, power and greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be handed over to the saints, the people of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will worship and obey him.'

Isa 51:10 [Art] thou not it which hath dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; that hath made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over?

Isa 51:11 Therefore the redeemed of Yahweh shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy [shall be] upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; [and] sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

Rev 1:14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

"his eyes were as a flame of fire", because HE is the consuming fire Heb 12:29 which can warm your heart or consume.

It is logical that it is Adam. As later verses talk about The son of man coming to the Ancient of days. The son of man is a title Jesus used for him self.
