I have a recipe for chicken lo mein but the sauce isn't very thick and doesn't stick to the noodles. Can I use some combination of cornstarch and water to thicken this sauce made of, 1/4 c.Asian Toasted Sesame dressing
1/2 c. chicken broth
1 Tbsp. peanut butter
and 1/4 c. soy sauce.
Going to the store to get additional ingredients other than cornstarch is not an option. Please help I am learning to cook and have no idea what I am doing! Thanks in advance!

yes, you can use cornstarch. 1 tblsp cornstarch stirred into 1 cup water until smooth. You may not want to add all that liquid, start with half and add more if you need to.

Keep in mind you will have to stir constantly and return sauce to a boil. If you have already combined all the ingredients just stir until the desired consistency then remove from heat.

Hope this helps.
