I was wondering if anyone knew of a variety of banty chicken that laid relatively large eggs for their size. My sister and I have a little flock of pet banties (two Silkies, three banty Modern Game hens, and a Seabright rooster) and we want to expand the flock and get some more hens that would get along nicely with the ones we currently have. My mom has been complaining about not having enough eggs, so banties that lay somewhat larger eggs than the average banty would be nice.
Thanks!

Our Partridge Rock Bantam's tend to lay larger eggs than the other breeds of bantam's we have. About 2/3rds the size of a standard egg.

Be careful introducing new birds. Do it gradually and away from the coop if possible. Chickens can kill a new one.

Now that it is winter birds law fewer eggs but at the sun comes back they will produce more. Nature, ya know.
