I'm in the middle of getting a lot of stuff I've done wrong off my chest, just wondering how often you confess?

Confession doesn't save you; belief in the Son Jesus Christ does. We confesses our sins. But it does you no good if you confess, and don't believe Jesus saved you at Calvary.

It is important to confess your sins regularly to God, for you never know when a moment could be your last. Whenever you feel it strongly within you to repent is a nice time. I believe that would be the Holy Spirit urging you. The New Testament stresses for people to repent. Personally, I don't confess enough and need to work on that.

I am not a believer in "confession" of my wrong doings to another person and seeking absolution from that person.

Also, I don't believe I need to "confess" my sins to God as he already knows what I have done.

Now, I am a believer in trying to right whatever I may have done wrong to another person as soon as I am remorseful and ask for their forgiveness. I am a believer in asking God for his forgiveness for when I have sinned. Although, I know God is always forgiving, it is good to acknowledge the wrong doing and express remorse.

I also believe in reconciling with old baggage. You carry too much baggage, eventually you get more baggage and before you know it.... your burdens are way too heavy to carry and you become stuck in your moments to keep repeating the same mistakes.

So I "confess" my sins as soon as I recognize I have done wrong to both God and the person affected. I think it is important not to set them on a schedule as tomorrow may never be and you left ill will behind you. Live every day as if it the last day to remedy old hurts.

I wish you luck on your new growth and introspective journey. It can be very hard work, but do not despair and realize the end rewards of allowing personal and spiritual growth can be beyond your dreams.

Good luck and much prayers.

I confess my sins as often as I need to~ The Lord is always with us~
*Read 1 John 1 to start with. Of course it always best to read the entire Bible, not just parts though~

I confess every night when I say my evening prayers...that way I wake up with a clean slate. I don't like going to confession so I don't--unless I feel really guilty about something.

Just remember that as long as you are repentant God will forgive you..and you also need to forgive yourself as well.

God's Blessings!

Never, really. I don't believe in sin, so I can't confess it, and even if I did, I would have no one to confess it to. I do believe in karma, and I can't really change my negative karma, as it is not just from this life but from many. I instead try to counter it with doing good deeds.

I ask for forgiveness every time I pray. If I know I done something wrong or I feel guilty about something I did I will confess and ask for forgiveness for that sin.

It truly depends. But I try to do so as I realize it. But just in case, I pray everyday. Sometimes, I must pray several times a day! After all, there is no promise of tomorrow.
