You need to be yourself. Do not try to be someone who you are not. Be polite, respectful, and smile. When you talk to someone, look them in the eye. Do not act desperate. Females sense desperation a mile away.
Just think of everyone as just friends. Once you become friends down the road, then if you want to date someone, then ask. You have to be friends with whomever you decide to date anyway. Take your time, there is no hurry. You have your whole life ahead of you. Think quality and what you really and truly want in a relationship.
Have a Merry Christmas.

I think I got the gist of what you were asking.
Have you ever tried asking a girl to go out with you? That might help.
If that does not work, try to create a friendship..and then take things from there.
I find that you find the most interesting people when you are NOT looking for someone. Besides, it appears that you are rather young still...maybe you should focus on your schoolwork instead of girls.

yes, literacy is key. read something, lots of things, and learn how to live well, even on little money. you will make much better conversation, maybe have something to teach your kids, and that will spark someone's interest. whether it lasts, well, that depends on if you can keep it up the rest of your life. everyday, you should bring something new to the table, else interest will be lost.
