I called the movie theater asking if they found a missing wallet which had my drivers liscence, i looked all over my apartment, my car, and I called my friend to see if i left it at his house. He said it wasnt there. I still havent found it. What should I do? I am literally stranded in my apartment without my liscence. Im 19 years old btw

I will just address the issue of the drivers license. Find something that will prove who you are. Go to the Police station, and make a Lost, and Found report for your missing wallet containing your drivers license along with anything else. While you're there, ask the Officer if he can make a printout of your drivers license information. Contact the DMV, and explain your situation. They will tell you what you will need to apply for a duplicate license. Along with the Police report, you will have to prove to the DMV who you are.

Depending on the state you live in, you can still drive and your license is still valid even if you do not actually have it on your person when operating a vehicle. You may get charged if stopped for for some other traffic violation for not having it on your person, but you still have a valid license to drive. Just get your other forms of ID, hopefully you got a state or school ID and a utility bill or something, you will need these to prove who you really are and the will issue a duplicate license for a fee. Also, your first stop should be at the police department to make a report so when the creep who has your wallet starts using tour credit card's or your identification, you can get your name and reputation cleared.

If your ss# is on your DL you should contact the credit bureau and let them know your info was lost. That is so they can put some kind of alert on your credit file so if someone trys to use your ss# a red flag will go up. Also just go down to the DMV in your city and get another it will cost you about 10-20 bucks but no more than that....let them know also you lost it. In the day of identity theft you don't want to play around with your important info.

Get a ride to the DMV. They will print you out a temporary license while they mail you a new one. Last time I did this it cost about $20 for the new license. If you had any debit/credit cards or checks, you'll need to cancel those in case of fraud. I hope you find your wallet before having to go through all this.

Just go to DMV with three forms of Id. and I think it's like $20.00. Get a duplicate. No big deal.

Go to the DMV ( department of motor vehicles ) and pay the fee for a duplicate copy of your drivers license. Bring your social security card and birth cert. with you. You should be issued a temporary license ( paper ) until you get the real one in the mail.

If you want a police report go ahead and get one for a lost wallet. Take the report to the DMV and get another license, depending on their policy you may get it free, reduced, or full price.
