sorry don't know about bible, but in Qur'an it says:
"The Day that the sky will be like the boiling filth of oil, (or molten copper or silver or lead, etc.). And the mountains will be like flakes of wool, And no friend will ask of a friend." (70: 8-10)
"Then when the Trumpet will be blown with one blowing (the first one), And the earth and the mountains shall be removed from their places, and crushed with a single crushing, Then on that Day shall the (Great) Event befall, And the heaven will split asunder, for that Day it (the heaven will be frail (weak), and torn up." )And the heaven will split asunder, for that Day it (the heaven will be frail (weak), and torn up." (69: 13-16)
there r much more verses...

I don't think that anyone has mentioned Luke 21:25-28. A key factor is in the end of verse 24 "....they (the Jews) shall be led away captive into all nations until the times of the Gentiles (non Jews) be fulfilled."

The Jewish people do now control Jerusalem, which is thought to be a fulfilment of this. They have returned to Israel as a result of much antisemitism and persecution in the countries they were dispersed to. But there are many more still in other countries who are yet to return.

The LORD God said that they would be a witness to Him.

The Godless state of the world is certainly a big indicator of the way things will be when Jesus returns.

There are no signs that the world will end. In fact in numerous places the Bible talks about the Earth lasting to time indefinite. If you are referring to the "last days" talked about by Jesus that is in the book of Matthew chapter 24. If you have a reference Bible (I find the New World Translation to be the best and most understandable, and it's also free) you can use the center reference to guide you to other places in the scriptures where it speaks of the "last days".
Keep in mind however this prophecy is only talking about the people, not the earth itself. So when it speaks about the "World" it means the "world of mankind" not the literal Earth.
Hope this helps.

The bible is full of signs describing the end times. Its a misconception people have that eh world will end . The world(earth) will never end. Our society will end not the world. Matthew 24 gives an outline of the "signs". A lot the "signs" depend upon how you interpret the bible.

there are many signs through out the bible that prophesies the tribulation and Christ return.and contrary to what most of the other posters said they are not found in Revelations, that is the description of the tribulation and Armageddon. You will find some of them in the books of timothy,Danial, and peter. One of my personal favourites is in the book 2cd peter chapter 3 read it and then look around at the world today .

Well Jesus talks about it in Matthew 24, Revelation is all about the end time, Daniel is another book about the end, Ezekiel, I think chapter 38 is a pre tribulation example of whats to come. Matthew 24 though gives a good description of whats to come and what the end times consist of.

EDIT. schin24, when it says in Matthew 24:7 "For nation will be raised against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and plagues and earthquakes against many places." So what is the earthquake a symbol for then? People having seizures? No, it means earthquakes in the world, literal earthquakes.

I take it the past 302 earthquakes in the past 30 days rated above 4.0 doesn't mean earthquakes.

Matthew 24:4-14 " Jesus answered: " Watch out that no one deceives you. for many will come in my name, claiming "I am the Christ, and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against Nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.
Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other., and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations and then the end will come. "

The Prophesy of the end times is found in Revelations. However, without understanding the symbolism in prophesy it is difficult to understand. To gain better understanding, it is good to look at Daniel and Isaiah to look for the meanings of various symbolic words.

Some wa and new witness are right.
Also there will be an increase of knowledge, there will be wars and roomers of war, people will cry peace, peace- but there will be no peace and sudden destruction will come upon them. The temple will be rebuilt in Jerusalem (the utensils are almost all made- the stones are cut-the priests are being schooled).
Go into www.perrystone.org you will learn all you need to know.
Don't be ignorant like so many on this website- Be wise and believe.
May the Lord give you wisdom and grace!!! Amen.

You don't watch the news, do you?

Read the whole book of Revelations. It's the last book in the Bible.
