I've read all of your post so far and I agree with the majority of you. However, when it comes to internal fulfillment there's nothing better than a good does of love and affection for an emotional snack. After all, everybody wants to be loved...so love is the best snack.

Iced tea and kettle popcorn. Must be eaten watching the Alistair Sims version of "A Christmas Carol", in the season.
(I'm Jewish, but I love Dickens and the Alistair Sims film is the best version, in my estimation)

I like water too, it fills me up without calories.
But if I am not caring about calories I go for the chocolate.
