Gas, especially if you drink soda a lot then hunch over or if you eat hunched over. I'd get that a lot--incredibly sharp pain in that area. Tight waist bands do the same thing, and it's no fun!

Best I could do is stand up really straight, arch the back a bit, take a deep breath, and relax the stomach area, that sometimes moved it.

It's not a heart attack, it's not apendicitis. It's digestive related. Drink more water, try to relax, shift around so things move where they're supposed to and don't bind up. Sometimes pepto helps, but usually not with gas if that's the culprit.

lol, i get those sharp pains all the time.

Once i got it when i was trying to sleep, and it got so bad i couldn't breath without it stabbing me. I had to hold my breath for a few seconds for it to go away.

I talked with numerous people about it, and they have all had the same thing, so it is probably just growing pains.
It will come and go, and you will never be able to tell when it will hit you.

EDIT: As Elaine said up there ^, it could also be gas, one person did say something to me of that sort.

Possibly food allergies. Keep a log of what you eat and when you get the pains check it to see what's different. Go to the doctor. I have no problem with the doctor giving me a lollipop and patting me on the head, it's better than not getting something treated that should be treated.

It's okay to feel scared but calm down. If you have that cut put some ointment on it for crying out loud. Nothing is going to happen to you.
