Believe it or not this is the year that I cannot buy something for anyone. I am broke, broke, broke.

I usually make hand made gifts and Christmas Floral arrangements from things I pick up thru the year, I will buy after Christmas for the following year when everything is marked down....if I get money as a gift from someone I use it to buy supplies for the next year it is also a good time to buy aftershave and cologne...just watch thru out the year for things that go on sales....if you shop early and do a little at a time then you don't have a big expense all at one time...plus I am a big trash to treasure person, I shop Goodwill and Good Samaritan thru out the year and find things that I can fix up and reuse, you just have to be creative and think ahead.
Some of the items I have done are in a local antique store now...my motto is plan ahead, buy when you find a good deal and store away it sure takes the burden off of doing all the shopping at one time...especially since we have alot of neighbors that bring us gifts..it is hard enough taking care of family when you are trying to live on disability...I hope this will get you thinking ahead for next year, you will be suprised what you can find and create...check out some of the trash to treasure sites, besides the florals I also do Christmas ornaments which people seem to like and I am able to sell...

You don't have to spend a ton of money on Christmas. Even just a card wishing them well should suffice. Anyone who knows the "true meaning" of Christmas wouldn't be offended by that.

Almost every year. Sigh.
That's why I make a lot of my gifts and what gifts I buy I start early on.
It truly isn't the gift, everyone has loved my gifts that I've made.

.. I usually dont buy anyone anything ..
thats the least of importance .. I usually spend time with them ..
I would hope they understand my love and appreciation for them without having to spend $100 on an object

Yes, I have. However, a written poem on some stationary costs little.
