oreo truffels
1 package oreos
1 8 ounce block cream cheese (room temp)
Take oreos and put in food processer. PULVERIZE.
Stir in cream cheese. Drop by tablesppon fuls onto wax paper. CHILL

the oreo recipe above is easy and so yummy...the only thing i would add, is when it is chilling, i melt some white almond bark and dip the truffles into that, then when thats cool drizzle some melted milk choc on them with a fork, to make them look as good as they taste...these have been a hot at every place i have taken them...good luck and merry christmas from kansas

*****CHOCOLATE RASPBERRY TRUFFLES
TRUFFLES:
1 1/3 c. semi-sweet chocolate
2 tbsp. heavy cream
1 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. seedless raspberry jamIn
heavy gauge saucepan, combine morsels, heavy cream and butter. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Stir in raspberry jam. Cover with plastic wrap; freeze 20 minutes. Drop mixture by teaspoonful onto foil-lined cookie sheet. Freeze 15 minutes. Roll into balls. Freeze until firm.
TO COAT: you can either roll them in Bakers' cocoa, chopped nuts, or powdered sugar or even coat them with chocolate Over hot (not boiling) water melt 1 c and in white or chocolate chips and 2 tsp. shortening , stirring until smooth. Drop frozen truffles one at a time into melted coating. Stir quickly to coat, then remove with fork, shaking off excess. Store refrigerated.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Truffles
1 package (8 squares) Baker's Semi-sweet Baking chocolate
1/2cup peanut butter
1 tub (8 ounces) cool whip whipped topping, thawed
1/4 cup powdered sugar
Microwave chocolate in a large microwave-safe bowl on high for 2
minutes or until chocolate is almost melted, stirring after 1
minute. Stir until chocolate is completely melted.
Stir in peanut butter until well blended. Cool to room temperature.
Gently stir in whipped topping. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Scoop peanut butter mixture with a melon baller or a teaspoon, then
shape into 1 inch balls. Roll in sugar. Store in refrigerator.
Makes 3 dozen or 12 servings of 3 truffles each.
These can also be rolled in Chopped nuts or grated coconut instead of
powdered sugar.
