Has anyone ever eaten just 900-1,000 calories a day? How long did it take you to lose weight? If I were to keep this up for about a month or longer (no alcohol, no soda, some sweets if I break down) how much weight do you think one would lose?

the minimum caloric intake should be determined by "your" basal metabolic rate. if you consume less calories than your BMR requires your metabolic rate will slow setting yourself up for weight gain once you come off of the very low calorie diet.

BMR

* if you consume less calories than your BMR AND exercise you will certainly lose more muscle than if no exercise were to be performed. if you are going to follow such a low carlorie diet, exercise is not recommended.

I burn 1800 calories every day just BREATHING, missy. I take in about 3000 per day to lose weight, up to 4500 if I'm training hard, and close to 8,000 calories during a long bicycle ride.

You are stupid for eating so little. That's why you're sick all the time (and you ARE sick, aren't you?). Quit trying to be a stick; men like REAL women, not twigs with neuroses.

Depends on how much exercise you get. Once I consumed 600 calories a day and exercised for at least 30 minutes a day. I lost 30lbs in 30 days.
