I know yahoo has to do what it can and must, to provide a free service for all of us. For that I am grateful. I try to use the pause button, but I always wind up clicking on to the site and sometimes by accident, I completely X myself off line (5 times now). It's just too much of a pain. How do you find out how long an ad will run? So I can come back then? Seriously...I am not trying to be sarcastic.

Many people have been annoyed by this commercial. I am fortunate because I had downloaded a simple advertisement blocker that has blocked them all. It is not a pop up blocker, it blocks all the ads. I feel as thought Yahoo did this to themselves because of this tormenting video ad they have kept running. If they loose advertisers because 90% of their users have blocked all their ad's... then what can I do. I refused to be subjected to that noise any more. People have been complaining about it for a while and yet it continues.

If you would like to become one of the liberated and you have firefox as a browser you can download the ad blocker here...

If you use IE7, I have been told there is a blocker here...

I was thinking of emailing GAP management, to politely tell them I'll not set foot in their stores again, due to this inane ad. Enough negative feedback should work.
