I've known the girl for a long time, and I think she may like me...does the note sound weird/ stupid?
Let me clear up age...Im 19 shes 18, but neither of us have had a bf/ gf before.
I really care about her as a friend, and dont want to cross any lines i cant step back across if she isnt interested...Opinions?

I think the gift is really sweet,and the note sounds honest, not weird or stupid. It's also brave that you're taking the initiative to give it to her.
I don't know what kind of things she likes, but I don't know any girls who wouldn't like that. I don't think it's too foward and it's giving her enough space to make her own decision.
Just take out the "right?" at the end. If her reaction is good, smile at her when she looks up from reading it. I think she'll love it! Make sure you are the only one there when you give it to her!
Good luck! No matter what happens, be proud that you mustered up the bravery to do it!
P.S. In response to your additional note, I don't think "of" sound be in bold. Instead, "color" should be in bold.
By the way -- what color is it? And why did you choose that color? Just curious...

I love the beauty thing, but drop the "right" and "hope you like it"... It doesn't sound stupid. Write it like this.

I dont get some of the stuff you are saying but no it dont sound stupid it sounds nice. I like it, and I think she will too.I think the only thing you need to do wit her is take as slow as possible. Make her see that she is as special as you think she is. Follow your heart. Its gonna be hard because this is your first time.

I think that the note is a lovely idea.
It'll deffinatly show her you like her, and there's no way she won't like it.
If she truly doesn't like you as more than a friend, she'll just tell you so. It'll be okay.
Give it to her and see what happens.
