YAY!!! NON-FAST FOOD BUDDY!!!
I find fast food disgusting because you can literally see the grease dripping off and taste all the salt they put on fries. I'm with you all the way!!!

When's the last time you actually DID eat fast food? Sure, it's not as healthy as you can make at home, but most fast food places offer much healthier food than they used to. Grilled chicken instead of fried for example. All of them offer salads now. And yes it does qualify as food. A McDonald's hamburger is still a meat patty on a bun, just like at home, it just has a lot more salt and often more fat and additives. And before you trumpet about eating healthy at chinese places, you really should consider how much stuff is deep fried there, never mind the MSG. So if you make the effort, you can probably eat fairly healthy at a fast food place too.

Only one? Why would you think out of millions of people on this site that you're the only one who doesn't eat fast food? And you're speaking for all the people in Asia & Europe? There are McDonalds in those places too. It's good that you can't stand those places and that you choose to eat healthy. I'm sure there are many here who try to keep it healthy too. I know I do, and I'm in the gym a minimum of 5 times a week. I don't eat in those places, but I know some of them do have vegetarian choices and salads. It may be a small effort to have some healthy choices, but at least it's an effort. Hopefully your rice dishes are brown rice and in moderation. White rice isn't terribly healthy. Good luck in keeping healthy... but there are a lot of people right beside you doing the same.
Happy Holidays!

What do you mean "people in Asia and Europe find it appaling"? I don't know about asia, but I don't know a country in Europe where they don't have McDonalds. I rarely eat fast food, but sometimes I do, when I'm on the move and don't have time for a lot else.

No, you're not. I eat home cooked food. Anyway... nothing's safe nowadays. Oh! I'm from Europe and i can assure you that the food we have on market is healthier. The food you buy there has hormones left in it (used to grow the muscular mass on animals). This hormones "help" the animal gain more muscles, but on man, it has other effects: like gaining fat tissue. This is why you have so many obese people around there. Not that we don't have those :D.

I eat fast food but in moderation. I don't find fast food very satisfying at times so I limit my fast food intake. Fast food is qualified as food even though it might not be good for you if you have it in excess.
Culturally, Asia and Europe are different. I always find that they like to sit and enjoy their meals as opposed to rushing through them (i.e like eating fast food)
I hope that answers your question.

No, and unfortunately, you're not the only person to not actually make the question clear in the title, meaning people have to waste their time opening your question and realize how shallow it is. Since I have a life, I don't care what you eat.
