I really want one but I dont want to buy something that I wont use so is it worth it?

Hell yes. Not only are you getting the most advanced console out there, you're also getting a Blu-ray player, which now costs about 300 bucks now, Wi-Fi out of the box, and free online play.
Here are the games that you can look forward to in 2008: Metal Gear Solid 4, Devil May Cry 4, Gran Turismo 5, LittleBigPlanet, Haze, Killzone 2, Final Fantasy XIII, Grand Theft Auto IV, etc.

ps3 40 gb is $399 but don t play ps2 or ps1 games
ps3 80 gb is $499 it does play ps2 and ps1 games

Actually it think it's preatty darn cheap.
think about it
Free internet, A blu-ray disc player, dvd player, the ps3 never overheats, the games are acutally awsome, a free spider-man 3 blu-ray disc.
so yeah it's kind of cheap

the 40gb aint.Just put 100 dollares more and buy the 80.it can play ps2 games,more memory and it comes with a free game just for $100 more.
