It's not really lying. Most children under a certain don't really understand the real meaning of Christmas and so in order to get the children to behave and to give them something to look forward to parents tell them about Santa and his elves, raindeer, and sleigh. Worry about little white lies to depict christanity is carrying it a bit far, don't you think? Leave it be. It's not hurting a thing and becides, in just a matter of years the kids will know the truth anyway. Merry Christmas.

They also tell their children this fake has powers which belong to God alone; knows if you've been good or bad, etc. He even wears red, and Jesus wears the red blood stained garments of His sacrifice.
Move the letter n from the center of the word santa and you get satan. Satan's #1 goal is to rob God of the glory due him, and through Santa, he is getting what he wants most.
How can anyone think that anti-christ can't deceive them, when they have been so overcome by this fake?

Its just for fun. It like telling your kids there is the tooth fairy, sand man, etc. So what? Its a tale not a lie persay. The kids already know what Christmas is really about. Why give gifts to one another and have a christmas tree? No where in the bible does it tell us to give gifts or decorate a tree.

They can pick and choose what to consider a sin and what isn't a sin.Even in gods eyes a sin is a sin,but people change what they don't like about their gods holy book,so instead of all lies being sins they change it so that whatever lie they are saying isn't a sin.

not really lying as the church obviously recognises santa as a saint - as in saint nicholas so to say he exists is not really a lie. Plus everyone lies so were all screwed so whats the harm in making kids happy in the mean time

No true Christian would tell their children that Santa is real. That's because none of them celebrate Christmas, a pagan holiday.
So how many true Christians do you know?
