They are listening to talk radio, and they think that is what is going to give them the votes of the fringe. They don't care about the middle or the swayers in this election, they want their nuts back! The nuts were lost in the Bush Administration, and now they want them back...

Republicans focus on illegal immigration because that is a huge problem the Americans are being faced with which needs a resolution. The Democrats are the ones not focusing on the real issues. If Republicans left it all up to the Democrats, we would be living in Mexico right now.

Not really true in total per my thoughts.
But, the Repubs do realize that illegal immigration will sink this ship faster than anything else.
What's the biggest problem ANY country has to be concerned with to stay intact? Yep, secure those borders. If you don't do that, not only will your own cows wander away but the neighboring Hoot Owls will wander on in and take your body and soul from you by blood or by lust.
Gotta protect your own. Any dim wit knows this.
But no here in the USA. Here, we not only give it away for free, never a shot fired, WE ENCOURAGE IT!
Has the color Black become White ( no racism meant here)?
Night to Day? Sheeeeesh!
When will those who run our country realize the obvious. I guess when we are all tramping around in hob nailed boots doing down and dirty, it won't matter much to them cuz the work we are all doing is going to create profit for the Big Cats that live up on the hill and own everything ...including the right to put that slug labor wherever they want it and to pay it as Little as possible. Welcome to America.
I hope and prey that the Republicans are aware of this and might with some luck, do something to keep it from happening.

Because the Republicans are the most responsible for this mess, illegal immigration. Let's get real ...
- We had a republican congress from 1994 - 2007 and a republican president from 2001 - present, so what they ever did to resolve this problem? NOTHING!
- Nine (9) million people came here illegally from 1994 to 2007, included five (5) million since George Bush took office in 2001.
They focus on illegal immigration for what; to stop it, to fix it or to perpetuate the cycle?
Stop living in illusion!

The attempts at amnesty and marches in the streets by the illegals has made it an important issue for many voters.
They have awakened to the fact that many of the people they have voted for are pro-amnesty and want to make sure they don't vote for any more as well as voting the others out of politics.
Once they have accomplished that, they will settle down and worry about more important things, like wars and money.

Is very simple...
... illegal immigrants do not vote.
There are people in favor or against the war in Iraq, if candidates are in favor or against war, they will win and loose votes. Going after the illegal immigrants is a win-win decision; they will not loose votes.
Once they are elected, they will forget about it. Remember Arnold in California? Did nothing about the immigrants once became the governor.

Because they do not want to talk about the war. They want war. Americans do NOT want war. The Repubs simply dont care what the people think, and they will do anything to keep the war going. So what "we the people" think is of no concern to them.
There is one Republican who is NOT focusing on immigration. He has said he will stop the war and bring the soldiers home. His name is Ron Paul. He is the only politician who is listening to the people.
Gooogle Ron Paul. .

Because that is one thing they are pretty safe with. A lot of people want to hear that something is going to be done about illegal immigration and the politicians can talk about that ad nauseum even if in reality they don't intend to do anything serious about it.

To distinguish themselves from the Democratic candidates who will do nothing to stop the illegal invasion. The Democrats USED to be the party committed to defending the jobs of American citizens, but that is no longer the case.

Because they have seen first hand what is most in the minds of Americans. The defeat of three amnesty bills and the dream act have opened their eyes. We vote and we want immigration fixed now.

I have always voted republican, but i have realized that the republicans have tunnel vision, they can only see one thing at a time. I will still vote repub, sorry but hilary does not impress me at all. and it is a well known fact that this country never has gotten back on it's feet from the devistating eight yrs of bill clinton. Bush has done nothing to try to get the country going again I will give you that one.
