I heard it was his big fat mouth that got him in trouble. Guess that's what happens when you piss off enough authorities, and go around pretending you're immortal.

You heard a portion of the truth, I'm afraid. Rumors are like that...people love to tell the "bad news"...telling the "good news" doesn't seem to be nearly as popular. Kinda like how you always hear about juvenile delinquents, but rarely do you hear about teenage heroes.
Anyway, Jesus was turned over to the religious authorities by a trusted friend, and they tried Him illegally, and then turned Him over to the legal government. Although the man responsible for representing the government found Him innocent, he agreed to condemn Him to death for political reasons (sounds familiar, doesn't it?). He was taken to the place of execution, and there, He was nailed to a wooden cross. Some say it was a single stake, others think it might have been an X-shaped arrangement, still others believe it might have been shaped like a capital "T", but most folks agree that it was the small "t" shape you see Christians wearing. The Romans had been known to use all of the above, so, unless we have an eye-witness report, we can't really know, but it doesn't matter...the result was the same, anyhow. Jesus died. A couple of His friends took His body, and laid it in a tomb...
BUT, that is not the end of the story.
A couple of days later (since the Jews counted any part of a day as a "day", we generally say "on the third day", but again, it doesn't really matter), some of the women who had been His friends and followers went out to the tomb to anoint His body, as their custom for the dead was.
When they got there, they were quite amazed to find that the huge stone that served as a door to the tomb had been moved, since it generally took several large men to move those stones. So, they went on inside. There is a story that they met some angels who told them that Jesus wasn't there, even asking them why they were bothering to look for a living Man among the dead...but the point is, His body was gone.
He was seen by a great many people afterwards, and at least 500 people watched as He took His body and rose up into the sky, after promising that He was going "to prepare a place" for us so that we could come and live with Him through eternity.
The story has become a bit garbled after 2000 years, and there are some who don't believe it, but thousands of people who were around at the time were willing to die rather than deny it, which does sound as if they must have been pretty sure. Of course, there is always the point that they believed that He, and He alone, could grant them eternal life...
Of course, you'll have to judge the truth of the story for yourself.
Me, I believe it. I mean, who would make up a story like that?

He was dead but got over it. Being a human ransom is never an easy thing. This is especially true when you are the only one on the planet who can fill the requirements.
Good news though! He was resurrected from death by his Father and is now the second most powerful creature in the universe! That is advancement.

He was dead. But then, because He is God, He rose from the dead, having paid the debt for the sins and wrongdoings of you and me and everyone else. Now, we do not have to die either, (at least spiritually). We can live eternally in heaven, all you have to do is believe, accepting His free gift of grace.

The Savior is YAHOSHUA. He was killed, and then rose to life three days and three nights later. Hail Zeus is not another name for the savior, for we are not to use heathen names for the Almighty. thus He must be someone else. He must be dead. Since we don't know which anti-Messiah you refer to, I can't tell you how he died. Martin Luther said the Pope is Anti-Christ.

The rumor is false. Jesus was died for three days and rose from the grave. He will never face death again.
