Loreal color pulse works pretty good. Washes out in about 8-10 washes.

I have tried lots of temporary hair colors, and they have all lasted longer than what they were supposed to. I wouldn't depend on any color to wash out quickly because everyone's hair is different, and while my hair seems to absorb more color than average, some people have a hard time getting their hair to absorb color at all. You just never know. My favorite semi-permanent hair color is Clairol Natural Instincts. It always scores very well in reader polls in the fashion magazines too. You can buy it anywhere, Walgreen's, Target, CVS, etc.

Loreal color pulse says it washes out in a week or too, but it didn't even last 2 washes in my hair.

Manic Panic is a weak semi-permanent dye that has some dark red shades. You can get it at Sallys (sallybeauty.com for locations) hottopic and the internet.

Walmart and those stores usually carry permanent.

Clairol Natural Instincts is what I first used when I first experimented with coloring my hair. I wanted an idea of what it would look like but was afraid to keep it permanent. This product was great because it washed out gradually and looked natural while it was in. I then went to something that would stay in longer and now use a permanent coloring.

CVS or Walgreens will have something like that.

Keep in mind... the color will not actually "wash out" in 28 shampoos.

If you want... wash it and then use Head and Shoulders, AND purell. Purell will wash it our pretty good.

If you want red... it will go back to your normal hair color, but there will be a slight red tint to it.
