Of course it's possible! You just have to cut up the turkey into parts, just like a chicken. Then place the pieces in a roasting or broiler pan, add any seasonings you like, and broil it. With the larger size of the turkey pieces, I would not do it on the rack closest to the broiler - set it a bit farther from the heat then you normally would. If you have an oven broiler, this won't be a problem...the only problem would be if you have a separate broiler down below, and there is only one rack to place it on - then it may be a bit too close to the broiler flame...you'll end up with burnt skin by the time the meat is done. I hope that helps a little! Happy Holidays!

I can't see that being a good plan. It would take forever too cook it and likely it would burn the outside leaving everything else raw. Cook it in the microwave and then pop it under the broiler after it is done to brown it up a bit.

If you have not already bought the turkey, run over to a supermarket and buy a pre-cooked turkey in the deli section. Or ask a clerk where to find it.
OR look in your telephone book's yellow pages under "meat markets". Many meat markets have cooked turkeys, standing rib roasts, or hams for the holiday. Delicious and worth the price.
OR do what my husband and I are doing and cook a couple of rib eye steaks with baked potatoes on the side.

Hi there.
It is not possible whole, you will have to spatchcock or portion it.
If you have never spatchcocked, it means cutting along the back until you can spread the turkey out flat. oil it well to protect the skin and carve only what is well cooked.
Good luck, Steve.

If you've got a barbecue you could cook the turkey in there.

I'd order out -- it would cook too fast and you'll be burned on the outside and not cooked on the inside.

No, it is not. You will burn it on the outsidie, make smoke and probably fire, and have raw turkey inside.
Consider sticking it in a neighbor's oven or deep-fry it.

No..unless you cut it into several small pieces.. but this is not ideal for turkey..Why not make a nice thick rich turkey stew.

No because the meat will be raw. You will be very sick and you'll have a burned turkey.
