like pray to mary, use a cross, and call someone on earth father... i heard they basically edited canons around 300 a.d. and made the bible.. and kept out a few books.. i know people argue about 'lost books' and all that crap on t.v. but, there are books that were regarded as truth by the church, even in 300 a.d., but that were only to be shown to church elders and not the general congregation.. mainly, i guess, if youre catholic, was just wondering about the first part..

if you only ask mary to pray for you and not pray to her, theres also a part where it says not to communicate with the dead or divine the future.. dont ask me the numbers of where its at.. read it yourself.. im into what it says, not where its at..

its also crazy how many people will run their mouths and live and die for what ma, pa, and the local preacher told them, without even looking for themselves.. it also says to keep gods secrets with you as he keeps yours with him.. and to find him, seek the ends of the earth..---not the end of the block..

Don't worry about it. If they repent at least one a year or so, all will be forgiven, even hypocrisy.

Without the Catholic Church you would not have the Bible to worship as many protestants seem to do. the authority given to the Church by Jesus Himself enabled the Church to authorise the canonisation of the Bible. The Bible exist because of the Church not the vice versa.
"but that were only to be shown to church elders and not the general congregation.." you need to stop generalising and provide references if you wanna be taken seriously

1. Catholics don't pray to Mary, but ask Mary to pray for them. Mary is in better standing with God than people on Earth.
2. Where in the Bible does it say not to use a cross? Catholics don't worship the cross, but the guy on the cross. Do you love the picture of your loved one, or love the person who is in the picture?
3. The whole "call no man father" refers to giving credit which is God's to other people. It does not prevent Catholics from calling their priest 'father.'

Do you care ?
Protestants use the Bible as a convenience store.
They take what they like and leave what they don't like. They customize God and make Him their personal servant.
Therefore why do they complain ?
With the same logic they could throw the Bible in the dumpster as say that God says whatever they want

Because they are taught to be obedient or get out! They are not even aware of what the Bible says @ all. Like "Study to show thyself approved".

Everyone does that! It is not just Catholic!
We all make mistakes, that is what makes us human.
To learn from our mistakes, makes us enlightened.
To not experience our mistakes would mean we would not grow in enlightenment.
I know you do not think this way, but someone will be helped by this, and that is what matters.

If you think that stuff is bad, you should read about what Vatican II council did to what the Catholics believed. There are many underground churches that broke off when they changed the rules. There are alot of Catholics who disagree with the new teachings of the church.

they choose to accept the authority of the Pope, so if He says it is good, they do it even if scriptures say it is bad. (and vice versa) believers followed Torah for 300 years after the Messiah, until obedience was outlawed by the catholic church.

What's funny about that is, they claim to be the "preservers" of the Bible, the same Bible they reject in faith and practice.
Catholics did not give us the Bible. The Bible is from God. It is His Word eternally.
Catholics murdered anyone found owning a Bible.
Catholicism teaches a false gospel of works that leads to eternal hell (Galatians 1:6-9).
In like fashion they have a laundry list of false doctrines and practices that have no basis in the Bible whatsoever.
