Most people believe that he existed, no matter whether you are Christian, Agnostic, Atheist, Jewish or Muslim. Even Buddhists believe that Jesus existed.

The difference is that Christians believe that Jesus is the son of God, whereas Jews and Muslims believe that Jesus was only a prophet. Agnostics do not know whether to believe in a God or not, and Atheists do not believe in a God. Buddhists believe that Jesus was a prophet, but call him a "Boddhavista", a person who is on earth to teach the correct way to reach heaven (nirvana).

I believe that he was real. A man named Yeshuah bin Yosef, better known by his Greek name of Jesus, was a radical preacher in Jerusalem around 30 CE. He was eventually executed by the Roman governor of Judea for "disturbing the peace." There is no evidence to suggest that he was anything above a normal human. As for why others do not believe in him, ask yourself why you do not believe in Thoth or Quetzalcoatl. The answer is the same.

I don't deny the existence of Jesus. It used to be a common name, and it wouldn't surprise if someone named Jesus were crucified. The Romans crucified lots of people.

I just deny that he's the son of God because God doesn't exist. The New Testament can be summarized in one sentence, "Slaves should work harder." It's just one of the lies the Romans told people to make them work for free. You can't have people like Spartacus revolting all the time.

There is no physical proof and many people seek signs and science before they believe anything, except evolution, Issac Newton, Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Aristotle, Marie Curie, Martin Luther and many other people they do believe existed.

who said HE is god or son of god??

1.

"My Father is greater than I." [The Bible, John 14:28]
2.

"My Father is greater than all." [The Bible, John 10:29]
3.

"…I cast out devils by the Spirit of God…." [The Bible, Mathew 12:28]
4.

"…I with the finger of God cast out devils…." [The Bible, Luke 11:20]
5.

"I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgement is just; because I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me." [The Bible, John 5:30]

The following verses are from the Book of Isaiah:

1.

"I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour."
[The Bible, Isaiah 43:11]

2.

"I am Lord, and there is none else, there is no God besides me."
[The Bible, Isaiah 45:5]

3.

"I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me."
[The Bible, Isaiah 46:9]

TRINITY: According to the Athanasian Creed:

"The Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Ghost is God, and yet there are not three Gods but one God."

In this Holy Trinity: "The three Persons are CO-EQUAL and CO-ETERNAL: all alike are UNCREATED and OMNIPOTENT." (The Catholic Encyclopedia)

Thus the Trinity is considered to be: (One God in three Persons."

There is only one verse in the whole of Holy Scripture called the Bible which unequivocally supports this Christian dogma, and that is:

"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost; and these three are one. " The first Epistle of John 5:7

Dr C.I, Scofield, D.D. backed by eight other D.D.'s in a footnote to this verse opine:

"IT IS GENERALLY AGREED THAT THIS VERSE HAS NO MANUSCRIPT AUTHORITY AND HAS BEEN INSERTED."

The fundamentalist Christians still retain this fabrication whereas, in all the modern translations including the Revised Standard Version (RSV) this pious fraud has been unceremoniously expunged, thus confirming this Qur'anic refutation:

"They do blaspheme who say: God is one of three In a Trinity: for there is no God except one God. If they desist not from their word (of blasphemy), verily a grievous penalty will befall the blasphemers among them." Holy Qur'an 5:76.

Thank God! The Christians are willy-nilly discovering pagan forgeries in their "word of God", but they are still dragging their feet.

I have no problem believing that Jesus did exist. It's the whole coming back from the dead thing that's way out there.

- If I tell you I am another son of God, would you belive me? of course not, you need proof.
- Don't tell me the bible is the proof for the existence of Jesus and God.

You need the Holy Spirit to open your spiritual eyes to be able to know that Jesus is real.

some people don't believe because of something bad that has happened to them in their life. so they use god as a scapegoat. others find logic over faith. then some just have no desire to worship God.
i myself, do believe. :)

Same as why don't US citizens believe Kwan Gung is a God. Chinese people believe he is a God not a man.
