Theres this girl i had a thing with for a while, and lat weekend she told me she just thought of me as a friend now. So i started to back off to not be the creepy lurker ex. She has been texting me a lot this week but i havn't been able to respond right away because ive been busy. So on Saturday she texted me asking whats up when i was at a family dinner thing so i couldn't respond. then like a hour later she asked if i was mad at her and i was like no why would i be mad at you? then told her i had been busy and asked what she was up to, and she hasn't texted me back...Why would she get all worried about me being mad at her then when i talk to her about it she doesn't even write back????

shes a female. females are full of hormones and emotions. sometimes they want the attention from a guy even if they dont like them, thats natural froms girls to crave attention and when they do get attention they get hard headed with it. thats your fault for giving too much attention. you ignored her she missed your attention and ran to you. play it cool and simple. dont give her too much attention and dont let her know your head over heels for her, always been in control your the MAN you have to MAN DA **** UP. act like you dont care if you loose her or stop talking to her.

she expected you to answer when she was texting you. you didnt because busy. now she doesnt text you because ( several possibilities )
1) she thinks you are busy again and she doesnt want to disturb you.
2) she doesnt like it that there are other things that are more important to you than her.
3) she is busy, just like you were
well she is a girl , usually girls think more what might be than boys do.

because it's hard to transition into this new relationship.. the one u used to have was where u would never miss a text.. and respond right away.. now that u r just friends, maybe she is starting to realize she doesn't like it this way.. or its takin her a second to adjust to his new u.

She probably thinks you were ignoring her on purpose and she wants to give you a taste of your own medicine. I would just back off and let her text you when she wants to.

She's giving you the reverse treatment...she thinks by not answering you, you'll know how it felt when you didn't answer her. Altho you had a perfectly good explanation, seems like she might be playing with your head a little bit man...don't sweat it.

seems like shes playing games with you. She might like you as much as you like her but she might have doubts about you so she is playing games to see where you mind is. She might just want to make sure you are still around for her to continue playing games but if you let her know that this is becoming silly and tell her that you want her and stop playing games, she might just come to her senses
