It's been going on for a few weeks now. The first little while I would get sharp shooting pains in my lower right abdomen, then it would go away and just ache for a little while. Then I got woken up a few days ago by sharp shooting pains in my upper left abdomen. That also went away in a few seconds and then just ached. Today I woke up with aching in my upper right abdomen. I'm wondering if its pain that could be radiating from somewhere else? I'm really worried.

That fits a pattern for kidney stones. Can you go to a doctor and get checked? About the only way to confirm is a CT scan. If so, diet might keep it in check, although kidney stones have three sources (uric acid from meat is one). A 24-hour urine test can tell which type of causing the stones, if that's what it is.

Why don't you just take an advil also when you take the pill don't think of the pain. Cuz I had these pains before, but ever since I took an advil and didn't think of the pain. It went away. Hope I helped if not well sorry. P.S. Talk to ur doctor about it
