No.

Really, everyone who respects and obeys Jesus Christ goes from door to door to teach his neighbors about the Bible's good news. It is interesting that only Jehovah's Witnesses are so clearly identified with the preaching work; globally more than 6 million preach publicly each month.

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you.

(Acts 5:42) Every day in the temple and from house to house they continued without letup teaching and declaring the good news about the Christ, Jesus.

(Acts 20:20) I did not hold back ...from teaching you publicly and from house to house

It's sad when someone who claims to respect the bible actually insults or even advocates attacking a peaceful preacher. Sad but completely expected.

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching... You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

Really, if someone goes out of their way to disregard Christian preachers and preaching, what is he saying about himself?

(Luke 10:1-17) After these things the Lord designated seventy others and sent them forth by twos... “He that listens to you listens to me too. And he that disregards you disregards me too. Moreover, he that disregards me disregards also him that sent me forth.”

May I compliment you for such a Cristian attitude. That was very Christ-like. You must be a real Christian to threaten someone only trying to help you with a gun!

Let's see, the JW spent several years in training and study at his own expense. The bag and materials they carry is also at their own expense as is the car and gas for that car. They could also think of other more relaxing things to do with their time but they are there with you getting rude behavior shoved in their face.

Please let this one fact get through your head, we are not doing this for ourselves. We do it for you.

Mostly you will refuse. When I am tired, I assume a major part of your refusal is lack of brain power or too lazy the fear of actually having to do something in worship is too difficult.

Other, more generous times, I think it is because of the hold Satan holds over the world. Your present life is so good you are afraid to change. Like the old shell game, Satan's false religions claiming to be Christian and those not, all shine like the real thing. People just can't tell the difference or do not wish to look.

I just where an upside down pentagram and put an upside down pentagram bumper sticker with the goats head on my car. I also just go ahead and hang an inverted cross outside my door and they never bother me.

I'm sure God has some really great pleasureful plans for me.

God will most definitely give you some brownie points for that one.

It helps to know that JWs really have no choice. It's required that they go out and harass... er... proselytize the masses. Ever notice that there are always two? I bet one is the 'snitch'.

"Hey, let's just spend three hours at the Pussycat Theater and just SAY we sold 50 'Watchtower' magazines..."

That doesn't work... cause of the 'snitch'.

So when the JWs invade your personal space, just invite them into your homes, compliment their ties, give them some de-caf Iced Tea and put on a 3 disc compilation of the Best of Black Sabbath.

Clearly if you threatened someone who wanted to politely talk with you, you were not being polite.

good for you for being polite. really - i mean that.

i cannot be polite when someone comes on my porch, knocks on my door, and treats me badly when i tell them i am not interested. for JW people there is not one iota of interest in anything but their OWN salvation. they see converts as tools to make points. i have NO respect for that at all and have called the Kingdom Halls in my area and told them any JW on my porch WILL be charged with tresspassing. tolerance is wonderful - and i am very tolerant - but don't come on my property to get your points. i am not a tool.

Comment to Faesson: We do not sell our literature. Also, the Witnesses are too honest to sink that low.
