Moses took 40 years to cross the Sinai.
Jesus brought the dead back to life.
Mohammed went on his horse to heaven and came back again.
A little blue guy called Krishna played the flute and had a fetish for cows, etc. etc

Which one tells the best stories (apart from give me your money and I'll save you, they all do that, oophs!, I forgot Baghwan Rajneesh or whatever he called himself when he left India)?

gkq????xyz, or whatever you name is, What have you got against Hobos. Was not Jesus a Hobo? His message was good, anti-materialism, but that wouldn't sit well with most US presidents.
To all the rest of you I have read most of the major world religions and that's why I feel justified posing such a question.

I don't think that mankind is so stupid that it needs some pie in the sky stories to know what is right and what is wrong.

That's like asking which body of water is more wet.
But for pure entertainment value, I'm gonna have to go with Scientology. Alien spirits? DC-8 space planes? That's good stuff!

Actually, sorry, Judaism does not say "give me you money and I will save you". I cannot speak for any of the others.
However, in my humble opinion, the religion of atheism (yes, to many the lack of religion has become their religion) is by far the most ridiculous.
As for stores, stories of any religion can be seen as beautiful if you know how to look at it and know what it is trying to teach.
I would say before you start knocking religions "fetish for cows, etc) perhaps you should learn a little about them first. That way your question would at least pack more punch and not come across as nothing more than a sarcastic jab with no muscle behind it.

Raelianism, by far. The god of the Old Testament was actually an alien who created life by discovering DNA. This is the only group of atheists who will support Intelligent Design. A French journalist founded the religion after talking with this alien (Yahweh Elohim). The alien told Rael (the journalist's new name) to found bases for alien contact and human cloning.

although i am an atheist but i think that we should respect religion because they where systems that enabled the humans to thrive coz they where systems of life. Now i believe they are obsolete because now we have systems that are built upon rationality (although that is untrue in most third world countries that is why they are falling into fundumentalism ...i can talk for hours about this)
No matter how much blood has been shed in the name of a god but due to this competition between religion we where able to access all the technologie now and enhance human creativity

To me it's not the religion that is ridiculous but the people that pick it apart for it's faults. Or knowledge is imperfect, therefore or religions are imperfect...If you don't belive in the sky, you shouldn't spend all your time looking up.

All any religion is, is lies praying on the stupidity of the ill educated and rightfully downtroden masses.
So in that regard they're all pretty good but really let's face it, it's all bullsh1t really.

I do not despise believers. I find them neither ridiculous nor pathetic, but I lose all hope when I see that they prefer the comforting fairy tales of children to the cruel hard facts of adults. Better the faith that brings peace of mind than the rationality that brings worry-even at the price of perpetual mental infantilism.

Happy Holidays.

Well,it is disrespectful to say that any religion is ridiculous, everyone must respect other people's religion regardless of their beliefs...However,i think that the most (irrational) religion is Hinduism...

I don't know if it is the most ridiculous, but is certainly one of the most hateful, narrow minded and un-Christlike - evangelical Christianity.
