Do any of you check the nutrition facts on the things you eat, for trans fat? If so do you decide not to get it because it has trans fat?

be careful with your choice of foods. Often companies are able to hide the trans fat content by changing the constituents to "mono - and di glycerides" Hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils are a key clue as well. Often, like in Chewy bars, the content is so minimal that he companies don't need to show it, but the count quickly builds up. which turn into fat in you body's metabolic processes, so make sure to actually check the ingredients, and not just the percent of Trans fat on the calorie counter.

I live in Canada where trans fats are illegal.

I eat yummy things no matter what they might do to me. Death is certain but getting there by yum is my choice.

yup, all the time.
also don't get hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oil.
