They were purple and you had to brush your teeth until the purple was gone. I wanted to see if they were still being sold

go to the drug store and ask for "disclosing tablets" they will know what you are talking about. There are several different brands.

I just went and checked, as I have some in a drawer in our bathroom. I got them from our dentist, and they don't have a name on the packaging. They simply say they are not packaged for individual sale on one side, and on the other it has the instructions for use.

If you want some, I would imagine that you can just get some from your dentist, as I did. Just ask him or her on your next visit--I've never met a dentist who didn't have some tucked away somewhere in their office.
