Im in 12th grade, & i think its about time to get my license. I know how to drive, but im wondering if its hard to obtain a license & if it takes long to get through the necessary course?

It is probably not as hard as it should be. To some drivers, a car is as much a weapon as a loaded gun.
My reason for saying this is that there are so many more vehicles on the road than in the past and many people on script drugs and illicits, who get behind the wheel of a vehicle. You would be surprised at how many people in accidents urine test positive for legal and illicts while driving.
However, some states have adopted a staggering (step-wise) license according to age.
I did not take the course, I studied the handbook, (many, many years ago), and upon each renewal, so I don't know how the course is.
Just study the handbook, KNOW the signs.
Drive cautiously, not too fast, not too slow. Keep a car length between driver ahead.
Do not change lanes needlessly every 2 seconds.
Be courteous.
Don't double park.
Don't tailgate.
Don't park in handicap if you are not handicap.
AND WEAR SEATBELT.
Go for it.

If you're 18, you probably won't even need to take a class in most states. And the driving test to actually get your license is a joke.

kind of but good experence u will learn many things.i failed twice just in 1 point but passed in 3rd time and 2 classes before drving test and passed

Not hard just time consuming i got mine my 16 birthday
