Did you write down the number or did she? Was the person who wrote down the number intoxicated? If she wrote down the number and was sober I'm stumped. If you wrote it down, accidents happen, and maybe you wrote it down wrong. Sounds like you were getting all the right signals, but I don't have a good reason as to why she would have given you the wrong number. That sucks that you got the short end of the stick. May the rest of the year be more prosperous!!

That was the only reason why you broke up with her though ? You should have given her a chance, and then have talked to her about it and asked her why she said that. Then maybe react in the way you did.
Maybe she was with someone else, and obviously didn't want you knowing, that's the worse situation...But it could happen. So you were right, but wrong at the same time.

Definately. You shouldn't have to ask her who she is going out with on new years eve because she should be spending it with you. It is obvious that she doesn't have any feelings for you to speak to you that way. Just imagine if she was your wife. Thank goodness you aren't married or you would be miserable. Life is too short to be disrepected and unappreciated. You did the right thing!!!!!!
