Yes, unfortunately, since about 95% of it is derived from pagan celebrations.

Christmas was NOT a pagan holiday. December 25th was a pagan holiday saturated in witchcraft, sorcery, demons, etc. But the early Church was not going to put their stamp of approval on this evil Holiday so the Church made a rival holiday to honor Jesus. They called it Christmas, not the pagans! To answer your question, had Jesus never came we would NOT be here for man would have been CONSUMED by sin and extincted the whole human race. God knew that, therefore He sent us a Saviour. All this running your mouths in answers and not knowing what you are talking about is really getting old!

no because Christ is in the word Christmas and he was born to save all man kind from sin and he loves us.I think your question is a bit selfish because if Christ was never born you would be in hell.
Have a wonderful time and Jesus loves you and Christ is the reason for this season

You're cute!

I don't mean Your question, Santy. You don't have to ENDURE anything. Except, maybe, a neglected litter box.

Christians are not the only ones who choose to shine some light on this darkest time of the year. If You are talking about the commercialism, i could not agree with You more, but we are not doing the rush-rush buy-buy shuffle this year. We told everybody NO GIFTS!

I light a candle in my window every night. Happy Holidays!

Just out of curiosity, what do you have to endure? Is it the good food? The break from work? The family gatherings? The festive mood? The heavenly carols?

What exactly do you have to endure? Honestly, I find your attitude strange. Anyway, to answer your question, NO.

Possibly. Since Jesus was not actually born on this date, Jesus may or may not have actually ever existed, Christmas is derived from pagan traditions, and most other religions have holidays during this same point in time, we would most likely have something to celebrate resembling Christmas, even without Jesus.

What are you "enduring".
Is someone trying to be charitable to you?
Do you tire of the "Peace on Earth" and "Joy to the World" optimism?
Or does it just irratate you that others around you are too involved believing what you oppose that you have a problem allowing them to peacebly exist in the same universe as you?

Christmas is what you make it ; the same with life ; do you just endure life??; common theme ; feelings with one will be the feelings with everything ; I felt sorry for myself for not having shoes until I saw a man with no feet; pity parties don't solve anything no matter when they are thrown, Christmas or otherwise
