Ok well i tried it like one year and a half ago without knowing what it was for and it turns out that this really does work but I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. Many people say that it's dangerous but I'm not sure what is meant by this. What could be the dangers? Is conflict inevitable? How can you know for sure? Can this possibly be an exaggeration? (I'm not implying anything. Just asking for ouside opinions)
Warner Bros sure created a popular game.
I would like to know what all the fuss is about or if this really should be taken seriously.
Thanks :)

It's a means of talking to beings in the spirit realm. It may or may not work. However when it does, "Danger Will Robinson!" *cough* Sorry. That was from an old tv show I saw reruns of when I was a kid. I'm a minister and have heard nothing good from the use of the boards. Fallen angels who mimick the deceased are referred to as "familiars" in some circles. These fallen who were familiar with deceased persons mimick them after death in an attempt to detour the seeker from the true ultimate source. If all eyes are detoured from the ultimate source, deception has occurred and a deep root is lodged within the individual(s). 'nuf said.

First I is NOT a game. It is viewed by many as a meaning of communicating with spirits. Mediums would be very offended for you to call it a game for to them it is far from a game, but a very real means of commuting with the dead, and various other realms of the world.

Warner Bro, did not create it. They just marketed it in a different form to the general public. The basic technique had been used for centuries before they marketed it. Some people, for example, use an upside down glass with a hand made lettered sheet or board and get the same results.

The Ouija Board is a form of divination. The Bible tells us divination in any form is an abomination to the Lord. It is tapering with demonic spirits. I would say it is dangerous to temper with demonic spirits. Some people think it is fun and use it for entertainment completely unaware of what it opens them up to. On the other hand there are those who know exactly what it is for and use it as such, but it matters little which way you allow yourself to be drawn into it. Demons can get a foot hold on you if you use the Ouija Board. Be careful!

The oujia board is real and is a form of divination. Remember, contacting spirits is something that will only do harm to a person, or decieve a person. All spirts are evil. There is no such as human spirits. They are called familiar spirits in the bible. They pose as deceased loved ones to trick and decieve people into believeing lies about the spiritual realm.
When I was 12, I used to play the oujia board with my friend. It worked, we weren't pushing it.
One day we asked it the question, "who are you? are you Jesus?" It quickly spelled out, NO!, "who are you then?" we asked. then it quickly spelled out satan. Then it spelled out, really fast , and I want to "F" you. Then the cursor turned and moved toward me, and went off the board pointing at me.
We freaked out and started crying. We never played it again.
After that for years I was harrassed and even tormented by what I now know was an incubus spirit. This a male spirit that opresses females in their sleep, and tries to have sex with them. It would put pressure on my chest, making it hard to breath. Nor could I move or call out. It would swear at me and lay on top of me. It was a huge spirit and very strong. I fought with this thing with all my strengh. I finally was able to get rid of it through the Lord. But the point is that I opened the door for this and other spirits, by using the oujia board. I also, was harrassed by demons that would make me feel like I was being flung around and off the bed. because of the oujia board, I had several years of harrasement by tormenting spirits. Only the Lord can deliver a person from demons.

Ouija boards - Are they evil?

Most practitioners believe that paranormal or supernatural forces are at work in spelling out Ouija Board answers. The Ouija board has the letters of the alphabet and "yes," "no," and sometimes maybe. The planchette is held and a question is asked. The pointer selects letters until an answer is selected. There are many variations to this. Most skeptics and scientists believe that participants are subconsciously making small involuntary physical movements. This is known as ideomotor effect. The same unnoticeable movement is at work in dowsing (using a pendulum, stick, or other means to locate water, minerals, oil, etc.)

Of the many experiments made by skeptics, the most recent and useful came from Penn and Teller of TV and Las Vegas NV fame. They blindfolded participants and they continued to move to the old positions when the board is secretly rotated. The only information conveyed by the Ouija Board was already known by them - even if it was wrong. Some people have used the Ouija Board to speak with ghosts of people they later found alive. Many people have had very bad experiences with Ouija Boards. The human mind is very fragile and many people who seek this kind of spiritually need other kind of help.

Let's define evil (It is characterized by people and behaviors that are hurtful, ruinous, or disastrous). When we try to communicate with the dead, we must go to the source of truth, the Bible. Isaiah 8:19-20 says, "'So why are you trying to find out the future by consulting mediums and psychics? Do not listen to their whisperings and mutterings. Can the living find out the future from the dead? Why not ask your God? Check their predictions against my testimony,' says the LORD. 'If their predictions are different from mine, it is because there is no light or truth in them.'"

Contacting the dead is called necromancy, and contacting spirits is spiritism, and both are condemned by God. Leviticus 19:31 says, "Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God."

Although Ouija boards are considered just plain fun by many people and paranormal researchers believe that it allows communication with evil demons, which is biblically forbidden as a form of divination. The evil demons can pretend to be willing partners until the Ouija player becomes hooked or even possessed. The Ouija board player would be better served by trusting in the Lord with all your heart and not depending on your own understanding. When you seek God in all you do, He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3: 5-6). A personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the real answer.

You will get conflicted answers on this. I am a psychic medium and life coach. I, myslef wouldnt use one, But thats me. We make our own paths in life .
People feel it is dangerous because when you connect with the spirit world using such a thing you never know what will happen. There are many levels to the spirit world as there is this world. what if you connect with a bad level? what if you allow a dark energy through.
Each person has different beliefs.
So its best to follow what you feel is right with this. actually the game verson of this isn't as popular as you would expect. it isnt even in the top 100 of games listed for major sales in any game company.
It isnt popular by demand or use its just known because many people talk about it.
I say through caution to the wind. Forget about this board and go to my space and watch some James Arthur Ray Videos. Now those will teach you alot!

If it really did work I would proceed with caution. I have heard some say that something weird happened, others say it's just a game. Personally, I consider it to be the former and that since evil spirits are mentioned in the bible, I believe they might come into play while dabbling in the occult.

IMHO, God is everything that is good. Evil is everything that is bad. When playing the ouija board, who knows what kind of spirits are lurking?

Might be good.....might be bad....and definitely not worth the risk.

It's just a game. The fuss is created by people who believe it works to help create a sort of mythology based on the game. Try this if you think it really works. Blindfold yourself while you are using it. If there really are spirits at work it won't matter that you cannot see the board. Obviously you will need someone to watch with you. If you still think it works, then after you blindfold yourself have someone rotate the board, again the "spirits" shouldn't be affected by this.

Its just a game, but it is not recommended for kids.
Because, it is based on a principle adopted from the occult laws on clairvoyance.
Normally our human minds dont connect with spirits.
However there are certain methods by which we can connect with them.
Ouija follows one such method.
To simplify it for you, think about the radio waves. You cannot hear them normally. But you do if you have a radio set. Same goes for the OUija.

The only way a Ouija board could be dangerous is if you clobber somebody over the head with one. You can find them on a toy shelf, right in between the Frisbees and the Etch-a-Sketch.

The Ouija board was derived from a belief in fortune telling and some traces in the occult, so for those who do not want to be involved in it, allowing oneself to take part in those kind of activities is a dangerous thing to do. I personally don't, because I do believe in demons and that the occult is backed by forces opposite that which I am joined in, and do not want any of those influences to appear in what I do for "fun".
