Some wait 3 days, some 3 months.. (usually it's one or the other)

For some reason a lot of people use the number 3 for it... Just depends on the relationship.

i'd say wait until after 6 months, and thats early..only because the first 6 months are trial an error time, still getting used to eachother and comfortable aoround eachother. 6 monnths then starts to qualify for a long term relationship which is what you need or should have when having sex. So if you don't want to wait til marriage then least wait til 6 months so you know he is serious bout the relationship and you are too.

ok
:]

It varies widely. Some will have sex on the first date (or before an official date) others refuse until they've said "I do".

My preference is fairly early in the dating relationship (first date has happened, but isn't what I prefer or shoot for). Being sexually compatible is important to me though, so it's something I want to know about before we get very deeply involved in other ways...and I just happen to enjoy sex.

To each, their own. ☺☻

W, I'm a fast mover so I try for the 1st date. If it doesn't happen on the 1st date, that's good cuz then I get bored with that person cuz there's nothing to wait/anticipate for. Sorry if this makes me sound like a "pig," but that's just me.

Wwhen it feels right just plan a night for it and go for it. Make it special and romantic so he doesn't think you're just giving it up for the sake of giving it up. Let him know it means something to you. If it's a newer relationship make sure you use protection and birth control. :-D

Hold on as long as possible. I'm telling you, we (women) hold the power and we don't realize it. Hold out, hold out, hold out. It changes the relationship because we (women) are emtional by nature. Unless you can handle what comes along with involving sex, HOLD OUT! Trust me, it pays off in the end.
