Yes, it is 15 minutes per pound for poultry. If you slip it into a Reynolds Turkey Bag, it will cook in 10 to 13 minutes per pound, and comes out great. (Do not cook it 30 minutes to the pound, you will ruin it) When you feel it is done, try to move the drumstick, if the joint is loose, it is done.

Two years ago I started brining mine and it really helps the moisture level and gets some salt into the meat. I use a big stock pot at about 6 in the morning, put in 1 cup of salt and dissolve e it in water, fill the pot about half full and slip the turkey in. I must admit that I am cooking smaller ones now, 10 to 13 lbs. Soak it until time to slip it into the Roasting bag and into the oven. Just be sure to poke the bag to let it steam out.

If you need a lot of meat, cook two small turkeys instead of one large. They will cook faster and be more flavorful. Be sure to use the roasting bag. It will fall off of the bones. YUM.
I just did one for Thanksgiving.

Read the small print on the turkey's bag, it will tell you how long to cook it.
