No, it doesn't support a lot of plug-ins, it's very simple. Skeleton of a browser.

Thankfully, no. Internet Explorer, true to Microsoft tradition, is riddled with security holes and essentially flips the bird at the standards the internet runs on, so it's a good thing Windows computers are the only machines unfortunate enough to be running it (not counting some smartphones). If you're using it on your computer, I highly recommend you install a real browser instead, for your own good.

No its not the same as a internet explorer or mozilla firefox, however it does have a fairly capable browser built in that allows you to download files (movies, pics etc), along with browsing the web. id recommend a wireless or USB keyboard to hook up and use that to surf the web. it would also support a mouse as well, but you can just use the remote.

YES and no..it does not have flash and media player..so u cant go to those fancy flash sites...but it can still copy and paste pictures, go back and forward, put sites into favorites.. and even refresh. the only thing it doesn't have is those flash and media players..the only videos u cud watch online with a ps3 internet provider is youtube...probably some other video sites..never tried though. hope this helps.
