The family loves the dog, it's you that should leave.

I have a couple of questions. First - you don't say what it is the dog is doing to drive you crazy. Crazy can be a whole range of things. Second - How long have you'll had the dog? Are you the main caregiver of the dog or do other members of the family help? Does the dog life inside or outside? Does it tear up things, bark all day long or is there seperation anxiety?
Perhaps you need to go get the dog some training as this might help the problem.
On the other hand, it might be in the best interest of the dog to give it to a friend who can relate to the dog better.
Good luck.
The dog is possibly as miserable as you are - but cannot talk.

I don't see how you could give away a dog that is in the family anyhow. Would you give away your child because it cries too much and drives you crazy? Anyhow if you would like help placing it in a good home please feel free to let me know what town you are in and I will see what I can do.
