Because sleeping pills are supposed to make your sleepy!!!!
Try cutting them in half like I did, works almost as good and you wont be drowsy the next day as much.....next, throw the sleeping pills in the garbage can like I did.....go to bed at same time every night, be relaxed at bedtime, no coffee or alcohol several hours before going to sleep and try not to worry....you will fall asleep if you try hard enough....

Because some damned lawyer convinced a jury of idiots to give another idiot a lot of money because that idiot couldn't figure out that something that puts you to sleep might carry over after you wake up.

Because some moron out there would sew the company for millions of dollars claiming they didn't know sleeping pills would -oh my god - make them sleepy otherwise.
