Not as many as with their parents' generation. This is in part due to globalization. Instead of continuing the family business, many young adults are getting jobs as telemarketers, factory workers, going to school to become doctors, etc.

yes off course
they are religious on their own way
i attended many religious meeting of morari bapu , his holiness srisri ravishankarji and other leaders in their most of programs are done by youth
if you will go to orkut you can find many community of yes-youth empowerment seminars from art of living
these all are i am knowing they are many unknown also
they need explanations
they don't following anyone blindly
they have logical questions and they find their answers
i think this question aroused because entertainment sources are different their wearing are different but that doesn't matter the soul never change
education changed many things now a days girls can get many things what they cant in past
in past you can find lower cast people suffer a lot now a days law gave them protection
i found old age people have still cast religion differences
but youth haven't this
they are Friends
inter cast marriages happens more easily now a days
widows can be remarried and also get good guy
i think today we are more religious then before only the matter is how you define religion
you cant separate spirituality and religious
if you do it mean you don't understand the religion you need more study about religion

People all over the world, not only in India, are leading stressed out lives. Religion provides them the solace they need. It has been scientifically proved that meditation can lower your blood pressure and improve the performance of your heart. If it works, what's the harm in giving it a try ?

Yes...many young people are increasingly turning away from Hinduism.....There are several reasons:
They do not understand what Hinduism is...Because Hinduism, in terms of its content, is bigger than all the religions in the world combined..it can be easy to get lost. There are so many books to read, there is so many different ways that one can be a Hindu and practice it, they don't know where to begin.
The only way to stop this trend is to have a complete reformation of Hinduism....

More and more younger generation are turning towards religion for solace, due to the the environment in which they are growing under stressful conditions . In addition the atmosphere at home where they are brought up also contributing to this.

No data available on that. Yet it appears many are not religious in the sense of following rituals and practises but nevertheless there is an upsurge towards spirituality.
