I question your statement saying Socrates is mentioned in Quran amongsts 25 Prophets. Please quote Surah and Ayah of Quran where Socrates is mentioned in Quran.

I have read Quran completely more than once with meanings and interpretations and have never seen or even heard before any name even close to Socrates in Quran.

In Islam he may well have been, though since he isnt explicitly mentioned in Islamic scriptures it isnt obligatory to believe so for Muslims as it is with the 25 prophets mentioned in the Quran

I don't think he was a prophet, nor did he claim to be, but he was a very inteligent man. As a Roman citizen, he likely worshipped many Gods.
