I have tried one of those online tests, I couldn't tell what the numbers. My friends told me that I thought that colors were just various shades of black and white. For example, I just saw one that I thought was nothing, but they said it was 22. But I'm sure I can see the color blue. Could someone please help me!?

If you're talking about the tests that have numbers within multi-color dots, then if you can't see the numbers, you're almost certainly color-blind to some degree. Those are the classic tests. I'd suggest getting to an optometrist/opthalmologist to be checked out.

The link below is a self-test that you can use, without benefit of friends, so that you can determine for yourself what you can or cannot see.

I'm color-normal, so I can see all of the figures and numbers mentioned, and I assure you they're present.

That's a color vision test. You might not be completely color blind; however you might be partially color blind. It's not a life-threatening condition, but if you want to know for sure, visit an ophalmologist.

Very few people are TOTALLY colour blind. The test you took shows that you have difficulty determining small variations in shade between colours, although you can clearly distinguish larger differences. That's all colour blindness is.

Your going to have to see an eye doctor, and it depends what shades you can't tell the difference. He will be able to let you know. A fact about it, males have the problem females don't. Also ask your father if he is if not ask if your grandfather was, its a hereditary thing.

Of course I can help. See a doctor, please. Being color-blind isn't the end of the world, since you've never seen colors but you should probably have your vision checked out anyways.

I wish you the best, and wish there was more I could do. If this isnt a good enough answer, or I didn't answer right please please please feel free to email me in a heartbeat at rabbitcreak@yahoo.com
