...arn't their congregations clean? I believe they have the nasty habit of helping evil conquer good. Then hush it up.
Am I under a false impression that "love conquers all things". If God calls what they do love he can keep it.

Shunning people the JW way is a form of intimidation. It is designed to threaten people so that they toe the line. It is also designed to put 'disobedient' people into a guilt trip so that they will come crawling back. The Bible's way is quite different. Check out the 1st century congregation in Corinth. There was a Christian commiting incest who was shocking even the pagans. Paul told the congregation to shun him - for a season, so that he would repent. This brought about the desired result and in his second letter to that congregation, Paul was telling them to welcome him back so that he would not become unduly overwhelmed with guilt. Now, the JWs insist they do the same. Oh really? Shunning is done for those who smoke cigarettes, whilst some child molesters apparently have to just repeat the words, 'I'm sorry' and they get reinstated and the youngsters who were molested end up shunned!

Because JWs know nothing of what it is to have their sins forgiven by God, they do not know how to forgive the biblical way. They major on judging others whilst ignoring the planks in their own eyes. God's love is found in Christ's cry from the cross, 'Father, forgive them! They know not what they do!' God's love conquers. 'Turn your eyes upon Jesus. Look full in his wonderful face and the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of his love and his grace.'

When a man in Corinth was unrepentantly immoral, Paul told the congregation: “Quit mixing in company with anyone called a brother that is a fornicator or a greedy person or an idolater or a reviler or a drunkard or an extortioner, not even eating with such a man.” (1 Cor. 5:11-13) The same was to occur with apostates, such as Hymenaeus: “As for a man that promotes a sect, reject him after a first and a second admonition; knowing that such a man has been turned out of the way and is sinning.” (Titus 3:10, 11; 1 Tim. 1:19, 20) Such shunning would be appropriate, too, for anyone who rejects the congregation: “They went out from us, but they were not of our sort; for if they had been of our sort, they would have remained with us. But they went out that it might be shown up that not all are of our sort.”—1 John 2:18, 19.

Hopefully, such a one will repent so that he can be accepted back. (Acts 3:19)

An individual is not influenced merely by those with whom he attends congregation meetings. A person who chooses entertainment and associates poorly is likely to notice a change for the worse in his personality.
...(1 Corinthians 15:33-34) Do not be misled. Bad associations spoil useful habits. Wake up to soberness in a righteous way and do not practice sin

Jehovah's Witnesses practice the Scriptural practice of disfellowshipping for unrepentance of such serious sins as fornication, drug abuse, stealing, and apostasy. Baptized Witnesses who join the military or publicly engage in worship with another religion are considered to have disassociated themselves from Jehovah's Witnesses.

Contrary to the misinformation of anti-Witnesses, it is quite possible to become inactive in the JW religion without becoming disfellowshipped. As long as one's lifestyle does not bring reproach upon the congregation, and as long as one does not advocate one's disagreements with the religion, the congregation has no interest in "investigating", exposing, and disfellowshipping an inactive former Jehovah's Witness.

For those who are disfellowshipped or disassociated, a primary goal is to shock the person into recognizing the serious of their wrong so that they rejoin the congregation in pure worship. Since the primary bonds that are broken involve friendship and spiritual fellowship, it is well understood that family bonds remain intact. Parents, siblings, and grown children of disfellowshipped and disassociated ones sometimes choose to limit what they may feel is discouraging or "bad association" but that is a personal decision and is not required by their religion.

Former Witnesses who are disfellowshipped or disassociated are typically treated in accord with the Scriptural pattern explained in these Scriptures:

(1 Corinthians 5:11-13) Quit mixing in company with anyone called a brother that is a fornicator or a greedy person or an idolater or a reviler or a drunkard or an extortioner, not even eating with such a man. ...Remove the wicked man from among yourselves.

(Titus 3:10) As for a man that promotes a sect, reject him after a first and a second admonition

(Romans 16:17) Now I exhort you, brothers, to keep your eye on those who cause divisions and occasions for stumbling contrary to the teaching that you have learned, and avoid them.

(2 Thessalonians 3:6) Now we are giving you orders, brothers, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, to withdraw from every brother walking disorderly and not according to the tradition you received from us.

(2 Thessalonians 3:14) But if anyone is not obedient to our word through this letter, keep this one marked, stop associating with him, that he may become ashamed.

(2 John 10) If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, never receive him into your homes or say a greeting to him.

(Matthew 18:17) If he does not listen to them, speak to the congregation. If he does not listen even to the congregation, let him be to you just as a man of the nations

Becoming baptized as a Jehovah's Witnesses is not a trivial step. At a minimum, a student must demonstrate months of regular meeting attendance and public ministry, then must himself express the desire to be baptized. The candidate then spends hours answering hundreds of bible questions wherein he expresses both a clear understanding and personal conviction regarding Jehovah's Witness teachings in at least three separate interviews with three different elders. The candidate must vocally agree to be baptized in front of hundreds or thousands of eyewitnesses, and must be publicly immersed in water. This is not a momentary emotional decision by an unreasoning child. Dedication as a Witness required hard work and determination at the time.

Excuse me! Get any congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and then get any congregation (or church) of any other religion in the same region.

Compare them and then tell me what's clean.

Stop listening to the bitter aposties. There are no cover-ups. No one is above the law among Jehovah's Witnesses. ANY unrepentant sinner gets put out.

JW's may need to clean up their act before they become guilty of hypocrisy. It seems they are trying to use the words "the father" in many quotes as referring to the first person of the trinity, while fully realizing that this dogma did not become official until more than 300 years later. "The Father and I are One" does not refer to the first person of the trinity, but simply to a one God. "God, known as the Father (term of respect and endearment as life giver), and I are One" is all it means. Be careful, JW's. You need to avoid deceptive practices in violation of the scriptures.

With all due respect, are you PART of an unclean congregation? Are you speaking from a place of fact or of bias?

Jehovah's Witnesses are known worldwide, if for nothing else, for their honesty and clean morals.

Disfellowship - the last line of defense against having to answer questions.

1. Incorrect translation of John 1:1 (Watchtower is right, thousands of scholars are wrong.

2. How many dates has WT picked as the date for Jesus return?

Take your pick...#1 or #2...sure fire ticket to disfellowship.

Lets see if what they teach is clean. They try to help evil conquer good but I AM is a BIG problem for them. No weapon formed against true Christianity will prosper!

JW’s have their magazines, watchtower books, and the nwt which is a neutered satanic translation. These are additions to Scripture.

The Holy Spirit is a force, not alive, Reasoning from the Scriptures, 1985, pp.
406-407.

Scripture says…

1. Jehovah's Witnesses teach that the Holy Spirit is an active force like radar. They deny that He is alive, that He is a person. This is, of course, because they deny the Trinity. Yet, if the Holy Spirit is simply a force then...
1. Why is He called God (Acts 5:3-5)?
2. How is it that He can teach (John 14:26)?
3. How can He be blasphemed (Matt. 12:31,32)?
4. How can be the one who comforts (Acts 9:31)?
5. How is it possible for Him to speak (Acts 28:25)?
6. How then can He be resisted (Acts 7:51)?
7. How can He be grieved (Eph. 4:30)?
8. How can He help us in our weaknesses (Rom. 8:26)?
2. If the Holy Spirit is a force, then how is it possible that the above mentioned phenomena are attributed to Him? A force doesn't speak, teach, comfort, etc.
3. Nor can you blaspheme against a force.

There is no hell of fire where the wicked are punished, Let God be True, p. 79, 80.

But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” Rev. 21:8

Luke 16:19-31

In no way, shape, or form does JW doctrine align with the Bible.

And the LORD said to me, “The prophets prophesy lies in My name. I have not sent them, commanded them, nor spoken to them; they prophesy to you a false vision, divination, a worthless thing, and the deceit of their heart. Jer. 14:14

I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. Gal. 1:6-9

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works. 2 Cor. 11:13-15

But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. 2 Pet. 2:1

Bread gained by deceit is sweet to a man,
But afterward his mouth will be filled with gravel. Prov. 20:17

Jesus answered and said to them, “You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God. Matt. 22:29

And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Tim. 3:16-17

Have I therefore become your enemy because I tell you the truth? Gal. 4:16
