i would say go for sony bravia w3000 :)
the quality of sharp is slight better than sony but the durablity of sony is way better..
sharp tvs even have dead pixel problems... future shop gets atleast 10 defective sharps every quater compared to that of max 2 for sony... but both look great

Those were our 2 choices as for buying a LCD 4 days ago.....finally we ended buying a Sharp Aquos 42" .Quality resolution is very good,nice image from any angle you see it (even very close),also there is a lighting adapter that works alone and other features very easy to understand and use... finally cut our cost in half and got a bigger screen...

I know this wasn't on your list, but have you checked out the Samsung LNT4671F 46" 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV?

I've seen this and the Sony playing side by side with Blu-Ray discs in, and the Samsung just killed the Sony in picture quality.
